It saddens me to realize that the once mighty Pistons have been lowered down to this.
Rock bottom people. The Detroit Pistons have hit rock bottom so hard this 2011 NBA basketball season that comparing them to Snooki's whacked moneymaker is putting it lightly.
Being a fan of the Detroit Pistons myself for almost a decade, it's frustrating to see them fall apart like this. Then, just when I thought it can't get any worse, Richard Hamilton came up with a mutiny of sorts against their disgruntled coach. Egad.
In case you didn't know, Richard Hamilton was able to convince most of his teammates to basically boycott their game against the Philadelphia 76ers, which they lost 110-94.
If I am not mistaken, only six players came out to play, the rest was either MIA or benched by coach John Kuester for skipping practice.
So, how did all these chaos start for the Pistons? Well, about a week before Kuester decided to banish Hamilton to the bench in January, the disgruntled guard berated his coach in a jarring and expletive-filled diatribe on the practice court in front of the team's younger players, coaches and agents.
Hamilton yelled at Kuester, telling him how much of a failure he was in his two seasons in Detroit. Rip also told him he was nothing more but a career assistant coach. Oh yeah, Rip was only a few inches of Kuester then.
